It was a peaceful day at Peach's castle, when Peach and Daisy heard a "boom sound" and try to call Mario, but he is on vacation and didn't turn on his Mailbox SP. The booming continues, so Peach suggest Daisy to investigate, much to her jealousy. They see a woman fixing her Comet Observatory, who then takes out her wand to become a princess and introduce herself as Rosalina. Rosalina says she had a comet accident a while ago and her Comet Observatory keeps blowing up in her face when she uses tools, so she must repair it with Cosmic Duct Tape, and tonight is the finale of her favorite show, Comet Academy, which broadcasted every 86 years. Peach and Daisy decide to have a sleepover at the castle, when Rosalina drops her wand, which was found by Swee T. Peach puts on the dolphin slippers as Daisy decide to pop popcorn before it starts, and Peach asks Rosalina what is her show about, and Rosalina says 12 Lumas are having a competition of which Luma will transform into the best thing after eating Star Bits. The show starts, and near the end, Peach and Daisy fall asleep, and Rosalina comments that the finale is amazing, she tells Peach and Daisy not to tell her that the sleepover is already over, then Peach and Daisy wake up as Peach pretends to tell Bowser that she had enough and doesn't want any more tea. Rosalina and Daisy calm Peach down before they find the Sleepover Cap of Destiny, a cap with pieces of paper with several sleepover activities. Rosalina selects the first activity: Makeover.
